A FIFE father made a second appearance at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court yesterday in connection with the murder of his children.

Robert Thomson (49), Muiredge Cottages, Methilhaven Road, Buckhaven, appeared from custody in private before Sheriff Brian Donald on a petition alleging that he stabbed both his 25-year-old daughter Michelle and seven-year-old son Ryan repeatedly on the body at the house on May 3 and did murder them.

Thomson—who was represented by Gordon Jackson QC—made no plea or declaration and was fully committed. He was again remanded in custody.
