THE TAYSIDE and Fife Chess Association held its 57th AGM at Stobswell Sports and Recreation Club in Dundee last night.

Glenrothes A was TAFCA division one champion and Castlehill C TAFCA time handicap knockout.

George Robertson (15) from Perth Chess Club was the most improved junior.

Dundee and Victoria Chess Club had individual champion singles and the Presidents Cup awarded to Ed Spencer and Jim Anderson respectively.

The Challenge Shield was awarded to Lisa Paton of Castlehill, Dave Cumming of Dundee and Victoria and Bryan o’Rourke of Glenrothes.
