PERTHSHIRE PUNTERS were dressed to impress as they enjoyed Ladies Day at the Scone racecourse.
Some classy collaborations put fashion and fun firmly to the fore throughout the afternoon meeting.
Colourful outfits topped off by some amazing headgear ensured a bright outlook for all despite the somewhat fore- boding skies.
In fact, competition was fierce both on and off the race track, as £500 worth of fashion vouchers were offer for the best dressed lady.
There was no shortage of contenders for the lucrative prize and many of the creations would not have been out of place on the catwalks of Paris or Milan.
Providing an extra touch of glamour—as if it were needed—was reigning Miss Scotland, Nieve Jennings.
With style worthy of Royal Ascot itself on the sidelines, it was simply left to the jockeys to ensure the form on the course was as scintillating as that off it.
And with a highly-competitive field taking part there were few complaints come the end of an exhilarating day.
