AS PART of National Bike Week there was a cycling information stall in Perth High Street yesterday, with a unicycling clown entertaining shoppers.
Maps of local routes and cycle paths were available at the stall.
The event was supported by Perth and Kinross Council and ByCycle and was part of the council’s work to promote sustainable transport.
A number of events and activities are taking place to celebrate Bike Week, which aims to encourage and facilitate more people to get out on their bikes.
In Perth and Kinross the council, as well as cycle campaign group ByCycle, sustainable transport charity Sustrans and many other organisations are involved in the celebrations and events.
