Royal Navy Association on parade

Standard bearers at yesterday’s parade in Dundee.

Royal Navy Association (RNA) members, led by Arbroath Pipe Band, took part in a parade in Dundee yesterday.

The parade mustered at Dundee High School playground before moving off at 10.45am to attend a church service in St Paul’s Cathedral.

Lessons were read by RNA president Vice- Admiral John McAnally and Dundee Lord Provost John Letford, with an address delivered by the Venerable John Green, chaplain of the fleet.

The parade reformed at 12.30pm and marched to the city square where a salute was taken.

The parade followed the association’s annual conference, which took place at the Caird Hall on Saturday.

There was a civic reception in the City Chambers on Saturday evening for the association and its invited guests.

This was followed by a dance in the Marryat Hall.
