THE ANGUS4Community website was relaunched in Arbroath yesterday following a successful bid for funding from Angus Council and the Angus Community Planning Partnership.
The site is an online resource of grant schemes and trust funds which allows voluntary and community sectors to access and search a comprehensive funding database.
The website was initially funded for a three- year period by Angus Council and the Community Planning Partnership, and after positive statistical feedback on its usage the council and partnership have again agreed to contribute to the site.
Statistics show that the website has attracted 226,000 hits, 6255 visits and has 410 users, with visitors accessing the site to find out more about local, regional, national government and European Union funding.
It also helps users to explore sources of cash from thousands of charitable trusts as well as the National Lottery and carries case studies of those who have successfully applied for aid as an inspiration to others.
The website can be accessed at www.angus4community.com
