Sky Blues on a high

FORFAR GO into tonight’s Station Park friendly with Hibs on a high after Tuesday’s win over Brechin.

The Loons came back from a goal down to win comfortably against their Angus neighbours, courtesy of Michael Stuart and a Bryan Duell double.

Tonight’s opponents will be a mix of the Hibs reserve and youth teams.

Kick-off is at 7.30 with admission £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.

ARBROATH are set to face a young Sunderland team after the Wearsiders’ finalised their 17-man squad for Saturday’s friendly at Gayfield.

Although there are no first-teamers among the list, there still promises to be plenty of top quality on display with French centre-back Jean-Yves M’voto, Northern Ireland goalkeeper Trevor Carson and young striker Martyn Waghorn all making the trip.

The Black Cats will arrive in Angus today and are expected to put in some training at Carnoustie Panmure’s ground.

Admission to Gayfield game—which kicks off at 3pm—are £10 for adults and £5 concessions. Season tickets are valid.

Sunderland’s squad for the clash is—Trevor Carson, Martin Hunter, Michael Kay, Jean-Yves M’voto, Niall McArdle, Peter Hartley, Michael Liddle, David Brown, Jordan Henderson, Robbie Weir, Liam Noble, Jack Colback, Conor Hourihane, Nathan Luscombe, Jordan Cook, David Dowson and Martyn Waghorn.
