An Angus couple, who yesterday celebrated 65 years of marriage, put the milestone down to a happy home. Bill and Alice Petrie were the toast of Forfar and inundated with well-wishers to their home in the town, congratulating them on their blue sapphire anniversary. Among those who raised their glasses were their son, Alan, who lives in the town, and daughter, Jennifer, who lives in Friockheim.
