THE MODERATOR of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Right Rev David Lunan, visited Kirkcaldy linoleum manufacturer Forbo Nairn yesterday as part of his week-long tour of Kirkcaldy Presbytery. His uncle was a director at the firm in the 1950s.

He was given a tour of the factory, which is the only resilient flooring manufacturer left in the UK, and also visited the archives.

His visit concludes tomorrow. He will conduct morning worship to mark the 100th anniversary of St John’s Church, Kirkcaldy.
