LECTURERS FROM Glasgow University visited Woodmill High School yesterday to present a series of workshops to computing students.
Pupils studying at Higher and Advanced Higher level were joined by a group of S4 students to hear from head of project Dr Quintin Cutts, school liaison officer Jon Ritchie and Dr Margaret Brown.
Information sessions were given on distributed computing, predictive human behaviour and image representation.
Woodmill rector Mike Gilmour said a similar project last year had been very well received by the school’s students.
