CUPAR’S FIRST art festival continued its successful run at the weekend with activities throughout the town.
One of them involved Fife Contemporary Art and Craft, and Fife Council Libraries and Museums, in a partnership called Making Spaces.
The exhibition has called in at the festival as part of a tour of Fife and it explores the different working spaces used by artists and makers past and present.
Artist and ceramicist Frances Priest was on hand for visitors, and on Saturday there was a drop-in collaborative workshop based on the artist’s photographic research.
As part of the open studios programme Castlehill Hall played host to Made In Fife, an exhibition accompanied by craft demonstrations and featuring original works including pottery, jewellery, textiles and artwork.
Other features of the open studio day included exhibitions involving Cupar Art Club, Cupar Youth Cafe, artists Teresa Doughty, Karolina Gibson, Linda Naismith, and Jenny Rae, and potters George Young and Griselda Hill.
The weekend also featured music events, including performances from Zuba, the Moonzie Allstars, Rab Noakes, Amy Rayner, Clatto Junction and the acclaimed trio Lau.
