WINNERS OF Radio Tay and Tayside Fire and Rescue’s Push The Button competitions to mark this year’s Guy Fawkes Night displays were honoured in Dundee yesterday.

Winners Jack Picton (14) and Grant Wales (13) from Kingspark School will hit the button at Baxter Park and Eve Mitchell (7) from Craigowl Primary School will do so at Lochee Park.

Dundee City Council leisure and communities fireworks displays will be at Baxter Park and Lochee Park tomorrow night.

Lighting of the bonfire is at 6.15pm and the Radio Tay Roadshow, including live entertainment, will start the countdown for the fireworks display at 7pm, lasting for 25 minutes.

There will be no parking available onsite and the public are asked not to bring any fireworks.
