Bid to find family of young Polish man

ATTEMPTS ARE being made through Interpol to contact the family of a young Polish man found dead in a flat in Dundee at the weekend.

The body of the 20-year-old—who has not been formally identified—was discovered in a property in Strathmartine Road in the Coldside area of the city on Friday night.

Police—who have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death—have since been making attempts to contact the deceased’s next of kin and have enlisted international policing agency Interpol to help trace his relatives.

The man will be formally identified once his family have been informed.

As with all cases involving a sudden death, a report will be passed to the procurator fiscal in the city.
