A £41,000 sculpture has been installed at the entrance to the John Smith Business Park in Kirkcaldy.
Called Thread, it was designed by sculptor Robert Kilvington and made by Gray Fabrication in Cupar.
It combines the idea of modern communications technology with a weave representing Kirkcaldy’s historic textile industries.
Robert said, “The pattern represents the warp and weft of the town’s textile industries while its overall curve represents a roll of a floor cloth or a length of linoleum.”
