In-line skaters from as far afield as Liverpool converged on the Factory Skatepark at Douglasfield in Dundee yesterday to take part in a national competition—but the local contingent swept the board. Around 40 skaters from Aberdeen, the west coast and Liverpool took part in three categories throughout the afternoon, watched by over 150 spectators. Winner of the over-16 section was James Kyte, the under-16 champion was Calum Walker, and the under-11 winner was Kallan Saunders, all from this area. However, the best trick award went to Ally Davidson of Aberdeen. Jamie McLachlan (left) and Ally Davidson are pictured in action.
