TUNING UP yesterday for a Dunfermline Abbey Christmas spectacular were members of HM Royal Marine Band Scotland.

Once again the orchestra will perform two shows against the impressive backdrop of the Abbey in aid of children’s charities.

Their yearly concerts are now proving very popular.

This year the band will be performing shows on December 17 and 18, where they will be joined by the choir of St John’s Primary School in Rosyth.

Tickets cost £8 and are available at the Armed Forces Career Office in Dunfermline’s East Port, or at Pink String and Ceiling Wax in Bridge Street.
