A team of kind-hearted villagers from the Kettle area amassed almost £7000 for Children’s Hospice Association Scotland last year. The group, led by Brian Donaldson of Kingskettle, have been collecting money for Rachel House for the last five or six years. A golf day alone raised £6000 and a further £885 was raised through a Christmas party at the Station Inn, a bottle collection, disco, artwork auction and donations.
