Car fit for a king

Car fit for a king: this £500,000 1910 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost will be shipped to Ireland this week after being lovingly and painstakingly restored by Classic Restorations in Alyth. The Rolls Royce, owned by an Irish collector-dealer, is one of several the Perthshire firm is dealing with at present and has been re-upholstered with new seating, carpeting and even monogrammed door panels. Classic Restorations are Scotland’s biggest classic car restorers and specialise in dealing with the high, exacting demands of clients dealing in the very top end of the classic motoring market. With the Rolls Royce are trimmer Ian Murison (left) and trim shop foreman Ashley Harding.
