POLICE HAVE appealed for witnesses following the suspicious death of an eastern European migrant worker living in Brechin.
Officers attended an address in Montrose Street shortly after 7.30 last night where paramedics had been called to treat a man understood to have suffered abdominal injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, but later died.
It is understood he was originally from Poland and that the property involved was also occupied by Polish migrant workers.
Anyone with information that could help the police is asked to call 0300 111 2222 or speak to any officer.
