Writer Angus Whitson was at Waterstone’s in Dundee last night for the official launch of his new book Tales From The Scottish Countryside. Around 60 people attended the launch, during which Mr Whitson read selected extracts, answered fans’ questions and signed copies of the book. The book, described as a countryside diary filled with thoughts and reminiscences, is the latest offering from Mr Whitson, who wrote the celebrated book on wartime canine hero Sea Dog Bamse.
