Trust work in Perth

DUNDEE COLLEGE’S Prince’s Trust Team in Perth this week completed their community project at Craigieknowes nursing home.

The group built a smoking area in the garden, clearing shrubs, bushes and weeds before laying slabs.

Perth helpers Thomas Coleman, Sharon Little, Scott Lyons, Hollie McLean, Shaunni McCutcheon, Rhuaridh Peters, Pamela Scrimgeour and Graeme Wright, together with Chris Prescott from Kinross and Tony Dickson from Glenfarg, also worked on a sensory room.

“As well as working hard in the garden, doing a lot of pick and shovel work, the team actually raised funds to finance the project by completing a three-legged sponsored walk,” team leader Vicky Mair said.

Based in Highland House at St Catherine’s retail park, the trust team’s project is aimed at those preparing their next step in employment or education.
