SANTA CLAUS popped into Asda in Perth yesterday to launch the store’s Christmas gift appeal.

This year, people are being asked to donate new or unused toys, books and games to charity Cash for Kids to ensure no children in the community have a fairly empty-handed Christmas morning.

The charity is hoping kind-hearted shoppers will hand in presents suitable for boys and girls of all ages—from babies to teens.

A gift trolley will be positioned in the Dunkeld Road store until December 20, to give Santa and his helpers enough time to get everything wrapped.
