Dundee boss says it’s still ‘all to play for’ despite Morton defeat

Dundee boss Paul Hartley has insisted the Championship title is “still there to be won” despite the fact that they are no longer masters of their own destiny.

The Dark Blues suffered a crushing 1-0 defeat at already relegated Morton, but the Dens manager is optimistic that Hamilton Accies may yet slip up.

And Hartley’s focus is making sure his team are in position to take full advantage if the promotion race takes another late twist.

“We’ve got to dust ourselves down and go again next week,” he said. “There’s still all to play for.

“It’s still there to be won. Anything can happen. All we can do is try to win our next two games and see where it takes us.

“We know that we have to chase now, but sometimes that’s not a bad thing. We’ll be positive all week and get the players ready again.

“All we can do is make sure we win our two games. We’ll take the positives from this match and be ready to go again next week.”
