Dundee’s new Spanish striker Arturo is confident he has the qualities required to be a success in Scotland.
Arturo, who is on loan from FC Cordoba until the end of the season, was an interested spectator at the Dark Blues’ match against Aberdeen on Friday just hours after flying in from his homeland.
Although his new club lost the game 1-0, Arturo saw enough to convince him that he has made a good move.
He said: “I was impressed with Dundee, although the game was quite different from what I am used to in Spain.
“I was aware there would be difference, though.
“I believe I can add good qualities to the team.
“Physically, I am strong.
“I also have good movement, workrate and can score goals.
“I am here on loan and have another year on my contract at Cordoba but if I am happy here and everything goes well then I may stay longer.”
