St Johnstone should know after the weekend if there is a chance of Danny Swanson returning to the Perth club.
Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray has revealed that he is set to hold talks with the former Dundee United man in the next couple of days.
It is understood Saints are interested in bringing the attacker back to McDiarmid Park after his successful loan last season, and that Swanson is also keen.
Mowbray wanted to take a look at the 28-year-old during pre-season but he hasn’t featured in a competitive match for unbeaten Coventry so far.
Mowbray said: “Danny is a very talented footballer and has not been in the squad because of his fitness.
