70-year-old Barbara is walking on air after daring sky glide

A daring Dysart pensioner fulfilled her dream to fly like a bird by completing a charity sky glide.

Barbara Linton, 70, loved it so much she has already booked up to do it again.

Fife Headway chairwoman Mrs Linton completed the sky glide with the help of the charity Walking On Air at the Scottish Gliding Centre in Scotlandwell.

She said: “It was fantastic and was a great experience. The world looks so different from up there.

“I would advise anyone thinking of doing it to get strapped in, relax, let the pilot do his job and take everything in.”
