Exclusion zone set up after major gas leak in Cowdenbeath

Residents were evacuated from their homes following a major gas leak in Cowdenbeath.
A 100-metre exclusion zone was set up around the scene of the leak near Central Park football ground on Sunday evening, the fire service said.
Fire crews were called to the area at around 8.40pm.
A reception centre was set up in Broad Street for people who were evacuated.
The fire service said the leak was from a medium pressure domestic gas main. The service said its involvement ended at around 3am, when it handed over to the gas authorities.
