Dundee-based publishers DC Thomson moved to buy the Scottish Wedding Directory.
The magazine is the longest established publication of its kind in Scotland, and its award-winning website is a one-stop-shop for the wedding industry.
SWD will remain a separate legal entity, with Lorna Leckie continuing as managing director.
Ellis Watson, CEO of DC Thomson Publishing, said: “Scottish Wedding Directory will complement our existing brands, in particular our mature and women’s titles, and strengthen our business portfolio.”
