Man arrested after report of woman being thrown from car near Kirkcaldy park

A 39-year-old man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in connection with a serious assault in the town last week.

The man was arrested following a police appeal for witnesses after a 40-year-old woman was allegedly thrown from a car near Beveridge Park and dragged a short distance.

The woman was badly injured in the incident last Wednesday.
