John Henderson, known as Jack, of Bankhead Place, Windygates, was badly injured by a reversing bus at the bus station. He was rushed to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline, where he died of his injuries. The accident happened in an area of the bus station reserved for vehicles only. Mr Henderson’s wife and family have been too upset to talk about the tragedy. Police are investigating the accident and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
