A separate housebreaking at a property in The Grove between 11am on Sunday and 10am on Monday saw thieves leave empty-handed.
Thieves also attempted to break into a house in Craigton Gardens in Kinross and a house in Blackford sometime between 2.15pm and 8pm on Sunday.
