Madam, – I note the appropriate euphoria regarding Europe’s success in the Solheim Cup, and Perth and Kinross Council’s spokesperson’s enthusiasm for more major events at Gleneagles (Solheim Cup to have lasting legacy, Courier, September 16).
Madam, – The news that Fife Council is facing a £7.4 million overspend (The Courier, September 14) should surprise no one.
Madam, – What exactly does science mean by life?
Madam, – The landmark decision of the inner house of the Court of Session declaring illegal the decision of Prime Minister Boris Johnson to prorogue parliament until October 14 is not only a vindication of parliamentary democracy over an untrammelled executive but another example of how law is intruding into what was originally the sole preserve of politics.
Madam, – I am sick fed up of these whinging jocks trying to save the UK from disaster!
