We’re all a-flutter here in The Courier office as the Maggie’s Penguin Parade prepares to hit the streets at the end of this week.
Any comic fan will know who Bananaman is – a schoolboy called Eric Allan who transforms into a muscled, caped figure when he eats a banana.
Dundee’s Penguin Parade is getting us all a-flutter here in The Courier office. With the fantastic news that only 20 more penguins need to be sponsored we can’t wait to see a colony – or “waddle” – of 80 colourful giant penguins invading the city during 2018.
Now that Maggie’s Penguin Parade has officially waddled into Dundee, it’s time for local artists across Courier Country to get creative and bring the Penguins to life.
It’s not every day that you get to chill with a troupe of dancing penguins but that was the treat awaiting dozens of guests in the Counting House at DCT Thomson’s flagship Meadowside building at last night’s official launch of Maggie’s Penguin Parade – a colony – or “waddle” – of 100 colourful giant penguins set to invade Dundee during 2018.
