This year’s black tie celebration will take place on Saturday, October 29 and will be held in a purpose built, 700-seat marquee in the grounds of the Apex Hotel in Dundee.

The Courier – which celebrates its 200th anniversary later this year – is working with Perth headquartered Arc Marquees to create one of the largest and most stunning event spaces the city has seen.

Editor Richard Neville said the 2016 awards were set to be the biggest and best yet.

“The Courier Business Awards have grown in stature ever year and are now widely recognised as the pre-eminent business awards scheme for Dundee, Angus, Perthshire and Fife,” Mr Neville said.

“Bringing the awards into Dundee – a city that is undergoing a remarkable economic regeneration driven by the £1 billion waterfront redevelopment – feels like the right thing to do.

“Like the emerging V&A Dundee design museum on the banks of the Tay, we see the Business Awards as a beacon for the local economy.

“From Laurencekirk to Loch Earn and Leven, The Courier Business Awards has shone a light on the many business successes on our doorstep.

“The 2016 awards are a chance for your company to enjoy that same limelight.
“Don’t delay, get your entries in today.”
