Around 150 people attended The Courier Business Conference 2025 which had the theme of ‘Powering Scotland’s creative economy’.

The event was held at new events space The Big Real within Water’s Edge at the City Quay. Guests networking before the start of the conference.
The event brought together business leaders from Tayside and Fife.

The first session saw local games entrepreneur Chris van der Kuyl showcase the new screen’s capabilities and give an insight into the new game his firm 4J Studios has been working on.

Jade Robertson’s Perthshire firm Little Lies achieved worldwide publicity after pop star Taylor Swift wore one of her dresses.
Livehouse boss Angus Robb revealed plans to expand the capacity of the new Dundee live music venue.
Geoff Ellis, chief executive of DF Concerts, which has put on some of the largest music concerts in Scotland, gave a keynote speech.
There was more networking and lunch after the event.
The event was the first to be held in The Big Real events space.
