Kirkcaldy-based technology firm Paywizard has announced a strategic partnership with another pay TV specialist.

Paywizard, which manages pay TV subscriptions, billing and customer relationship management for firms around the world, has joined forces with internet TV marketing expert Diagnal.

The Fife firm said the move would allow pay-TV and internet TV operators to take an “intelligent, data-driven approach to delivering real-time customer communications and dynamic multichannel marketing campaigns”.

Paywizard CEO Bhavesh Vaghela said it will allow operators to deliver social media and direct marketing campaigns in real-time.

He said: “A key to consistently providing consumers with the best possible customer experience is engaging with them through the right channel at the right time in the customer journey.

“Joining forces with Diagnal gives our clients campaign execution tools for intelligent customer engagement.

“Operators can identify audiences proactively and get the most effective communications out to their customers in real-time.”

Recently filed accounts with Companies House, show that Paywizard’s pre-tax losses reduced from £3m to £1.8m for the year ending December 31. Turnover fell by 3% from £5.95m to £5.77m.

In the strategic report, co-founder and CFO Ronald Millar noted that “significant advances” had been made in marketing in order to grow the business internationally.

He said: “It is expected that these efforts will result in increased client numbers over the next year and beyond.”

Administration expenses fell by 22% due to a review of the cost base of the business.
