A Perthshire road is expected to be closed for two days following a major landslide.
The C448 Coshieville to Loch Lyon route has been shut north of Bridge of Balgie after around 30-40 tonnes of material spilled on to it on Saturday evening.
Perth and Kinross Council closed the road at 9pm on the night and say it could remain blocked for a further two days as work is carried out to clear it.
A statement from the council reads: “Road closed west of Bridge of Balgie. 30-40 tonne of material on carriageway and blocked culverts.
“Liable to be closed for the next two days to clear the site.”
The picturesque road, which passes through Glen Lyon, is popular with hillwalkers.
Elsewhere a number of Perthshire roads remain closed on Monday due to weather-related issues.
The Path of Condie in Perthshire was assessed by the local authority after a landslip forced its closure. It is now passable.
And the B935 at Forteviot Bridge and A824 between Auchterarder and Aberuthven – both of which were shut due to flooding brought about by Storm Dennis – are also passable with care.
