St Andrews summer graduations close with procession and quad celebrations

On the final day of summer graduations at St Andrews, hundreds of students donned their gowns and celebrated with family in St Salvator’s Quad.

On the final day of summer graduations, hundreds of St Andrews University students celebrated their achievements.

The morning ceremony saw students from the School of Geography and Sustainable Development School of Medicine received their degrees.

In the afternoon it was the turn of the Business School.

Following the ceremonies, an academic procession wound through Younger Hall, along North Street before ending in St Salvator’s Quad.

Guests were then welcomed into the Quad to celebrate alongside the new alumni.

The day’s celebrations continued where yesterday’s left off, making for another special day.
