Back to school 2022: Your snaps of children off to school in Dundee and Angus

Some of the scores of readers' first day photos we have received.
Some of the scores of readers' first day photos we have received.

More than 30,000 children set off for school in Dundee and Angus for the first day of the new term.

And for just over 3,000 of them it was their first day at primary or secondary school.

We asked readers to share snaps of their children going back to school or starting school.

And we were sent scores of fantastic pictures of boys and girls looking smart and excited in their uniforms – with more continuing to arrive.

Tomorrow we hope to get even more shots of children on the first day of term for Fife and Perth and Kinross schools.

We will print as many of the photographs submitted as we can in special supplements in the Evening Telegraph on Thursday and Friday.

Here is a taste of just some of the Dundee and Angus pictures we received.
