Singer and actress Christina Bianco coming to ‘mighty’ Dundee

American singing sensation Christina Bianco is bringing her one-woman show to Dundee next month.

The Broadway and West End performer’s voice and impressions have captured international acclaim as a YouTube sensation with her “diva” videos gaining more than 23 million views.

Her show Me, Myself & Everyone Else began a UK-wide tour this week and she is coming to the Gardyne Theatre, Dundee, on September 11.

She has performed on The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Paul O’Grady Show, This Morning, and Graham Norton on BBC Radio 2.

Bianco said: “I cannot wait to return to Dundee and the Gardyne Theatre.

“An interesting fact about Dundee is that it’s one of the seven smallest cities in the world but as I’d like to say, it’s small but mighty like Judi Garland or Elaine Page or like me. We all hope to see you there.”

Her show will feature Bianco’s “fan favourite” impressions along with new material celebrating the world’s most iconic vocalists and pop-culture personalities from yesterday and today.

Audiences can expect an exciting selection of pop, standard and Broadway tunes, sung in Bianco’s own voice as well as in the voices of the greats.

She will also present interpretations that pair an unexpected singer and song such as Shirley Bassey and Adele’s Hello, or a soulful duet of Under Pressure between Julie Andrews and Christina Aguilera.

From Ariana Grande to Cheryl Cole to Celine Dion, no celebrity is safe.

Bianco added: “I’m especially excited about travelling up and down more of this beautiful country and meeting more of my fans along the way.”
