Those of a certain age will remember him from The Really Wild Show, back in the 1980s.
Since then Chris Packham has gone on to present the BBC’s Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch series, as well as carving out a career as a naturalist, conservationist, campaigner, and award-winning photographer.
Next week the 58 year old nature lover will be appearing in Perth Concert Hall for Chris Packham: Pictures from the Edge of the World, presented by the Royal Geographical Society.
Chris will be speaking about his travels to the world’s wildlife hotspots over a career spanning nearly 40 years.
As well as big beasts and amazing landscapes, expect a focus on the small and humble – Chris has always been a champion of the underdog.
At the core of his work is conservation, and he will talk about the damage we’re doing to our planet.
