A Kia with a price tag of £43,000. That’s right. The South Korean car maker, once renowned for cheap and cheerful budget models, has revealed by far its most upmarket car to date. The four-door coupe is available with up to 365bhp making it a very unlikely Porsche baiter. Those wanting more sensible engine choices will also have a range of diesel and lower-powered petrol engines to pick from. All models get eight-speed automatic transmission and both rear and all-wheel versions are available. Inside, there’s a head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, and audio options up to and including a 15-speaker, 720-watt Harman-Kardon system. Pricing is yet to be confirmed but Kia has let slip top versions are likely to hit £43,000.
