Honda has updated its stylish compact SUV, the HR-V.
The 2019 version of the car receives a number of upgrades and features, including sharper styling and an improved engine range.
The refreshed model goes on sale later this year with an updated 1.5 litre petrol engine.
Early in 2019, the range will be expanded with the addition of a 1.6 litre diesel and a turbocharged 1.5 litre petrol engine.
Its exterior styling has been improved with a new version of the winged grille in dark chrome.
Headlights are longer and sharper, and also taper into a wing shape.
The front bumper features deeper air intake sections that house circular fog lights, and the headlights now have projector lenses with redesigned LED daytime running lights as standard.
There are higher-grade 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome finished exhaust tailpipes, and the rear lights have also been upgraded to LED.
From launch, the 2019 Honda HR-V will be available with a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which offers 130hp. Acceleration from 0-62mph takes 10.2 seconds.
The petrol engine offers average fuel economy from 53.2 mpg and official average CO2 emissions of 121 g/km for the CVT automatic model.
Honda says it has improved the interior quietness and refinement of the HR-V by adding greater levels of insulating material around the car, including around the front bulkhead and wheel arches, the boot structure, and both front and rear door panels.
The front seats have been redesigned to improve comfort and support.
First deliveries are scheduled for October and prices for the updated model will be released closer to it going on sale.
