Mercedes has unveiled a new muscle car.
The new Mercedes-AMG GT C comes with a 549bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbo engine and bridges the gap between the 515bhp AMG GT S and the 577bhp AMG GT R.
The GT C Coupe will go from 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 196mph.
It will initially be offered in limited ‘Edition 50’ trim, conceived to celebrate the 50th anniversary of AMG’s founding. The company started when two former Mercedes engineers decided to set up shop on their own, tuning stock Mercedes cars for extra power and racing pedigree.
There’s no word yet on price but expect to part with at least £125,000.
