Kia has launched its most ambitious car to date.
The Stinger is a rear-wheel drive grand tourer with bags of power and presence.
It’s on sale now with prices stretching from £31,995 to £40,495.
Even the entry level engine has some heat to it. The turbocharged 2.0 litre petrol model belts out 244bhp.
The range topping Stinger GT-S comes with a 3.3 litre turbocharged V6, generating 344bhp.
For more sensible buyers, there’s a 2.2 litre diesel with 197bhp. All models come with an eight speed gearbox as standard.
Pricing itself against the BMW 440 and Audi A5 Sportback is a gamble for Kia but the Stinger offers more bang for your buck. We’ll find out soon whether the British public take to it.
