A busy Angus road was closed after a crash between a car and motorbike.
The incident happened on the A933 between Colliston and Arbroath, near to The Condor, just after 2pm on Sunday.
Emergency services including, police, paramedics, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were despatched to the scene.
It is not known if anyone is injured.
Local diversions were set up as a probe into the cause of the crash got underway.
Firefighters remained at the scene for over five hours.
A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call at 2.07pm reporting a crash between a car and a motorbike on the A933 near The Condor, Arbroath.
“We sent one appliance from Arbroath station to the scene to assist Police Scotland.
“The appliance returned to station shortly after the stop message was issued at 7.25pm.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A933 is closed between Arbroath and Condor following a crash involving a motorbike and a car which happened around 2pm.
“Local diversions were put in place, and drivers are thanked for their patience while investigations are carried out.”
