Image: Google Street View A teenager has been taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing in Perth city centre. Police descended on South Methven Street in the early hours of Sunday morning following reports of a disturbance. Two men, aged 32 and 42, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. The 17-year-old victim was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is not yet known. Two arrested after Perth ‘stabbing’ One local told The Courier that police dog handlers were also called to the scene as part of the investigation. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 32 and 42, have been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Perth. “Officers were called around 2.10am on Sunday, June 15, to a report of a disturbance at South Methven Street. “A 17-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. “Inquiries are ongoing.”
