Runners are getting set for the Glenrothes Road Running Festival this Sunday.
Scores of people will take to the streets for the annual 10k road race.
And there is also a 4k road race, a 2k fun run and a 200m junior jog for under 5s.
Now in its 42nd year, the festival is organised by the Fife Olympiad SCIO Committee and Fife Sports and Leisure Trust.
Open to runners of all ages and abilities, it starts and ends at the Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre.
Here’s all you need to know about the event.
Glenrothes Road Running Festival 10k road race
The 10k race is open to 600 runners over the age of 15, and places are still available.
It costs £22 to enter and anyone interested in taking part has until midnight on Friday to sign up online.
The 10k route leaves the sports centre at 10.30am.
And the route takes in various Glenrothes streets, including Pitteuchar Drive, Warout Road and Baltimore Road.
It then goes round by Caskieberan, Tanshall and down Golf Course Road before returning to Viewfield.
4k road race
The 4k race for school-age children is a shorter version of the 10k.
It starts at 10.50am.
Entry is £4 and people can sign up at the Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre or trackside on the day.
2k fun run
The 2k family-friendly fun run allows people of all ages to walk or jog.
It also takes in part of the 10k route.
Entry is £2 and people can sign up on the day or at the sports centre in advance.
200m junior jog
200m junior jog is for under 5s and takes place on the sports centre running track.
It starts at 10.15 and entry costs £1.
People can sign up on the day.
Will roads be closed?
Yes, roads along the route will close but not for long.
Rolling road closures will be in place to allow runners through.
But organisers say each closure will only last around 10 minutes.
