Affordable housing plans for the former Postings shopping centre site in Kirkcaldy have been approved.
The one, two and three-bedroom flats, owned by Kingdom Housing and Fife Council, are included alongside commercial units.
An event to showcase more detailed plans takes place at Kirkcaldy Galleries on August 26 from 3.30pm to 7.30pm.
Dysart hotel plans approved
Renovation plans have been approved for the derelict Royal Hotel in Dysart.
Owner Imran Haqqan wants to convert the building to modern standards, including new en suite bedrooms.
He also plans to separate the restaurant from the bar area.
The hotel has been closed for six years and has fallen victim to fire and vandalism.
The Range for Glenrothes amid Poundstretcher decision
Glenrothes Poundstretcher will move to bigger premises after planning refusal was overturned.
This will allow The Range to move into the current Poundstretcher unit at Saltire Retail Park.
Timescales have yet to be set out for the move.
Dunfermline HMO for dockyard workers
A former sheltered housing complex in Dunfermline could be turned into a house for 18 dockyard workers.
Councillors have approved a planning bid for a house on Transy Place, despite 60 objections over parking fears.
Applicants B&M Accommodation will now need to apply for a house of multiple occupation licence.
New Kirkcaldy flats
A disused Kirkcaldy gospel hall will be demolished in favour of housing.
Councillors have approved the development, off Bennochy Road, in principle.
Detailed plans will be drawn up, but applicant Bennochy Gospel Trust has indicated the hope is for 18 flats.
Dunfermline housing consultation
Plans for a major housing development in Dunfermline have been approved in principle.
Fife Council and Lovell Homes propose houses and a commercial unit on Lapwing Drive, to the east of Masterton Primary School.
The developers are now holding two public consultation events to discuss the proposed details.
They will be at Duloch Leisure Centre on June 30, and Dunfermline East Church on August 27, between 3.30 and 7.30pm.
