Two men have been arrested following two ‘serious assaults’ in Dundee.
Three police cars, one police van and two ambulances descended on Strathmartine Road in Coldside just before 3pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services transported at least one of the arrested men to Ninewells Hospital.
Courier reporter Ben MacDonald attended the scene and saw blood splattered across a doorway.

He said: “As I arrived on the street, an ambulance and one of the police cars left the scene at speed and with their sirens on.
“There’s still one ambulance in attendance, as well as three police cars and one police van.
“All the roads remain open. As you pass the entrance into the flats, you can see a lot of blood splattered across the floor and the front door.”
Blood on door following ‘serious assaults’
An eyewitness told The Courier she saw a man with blood on his face exit a nearby building.
A police officer was also seen outside a block of flats.
It is unclear whether one or two people were taken hospital as Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have made conflicting statements.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 2.57pm to attend an incident on Strathmartine Road, Dundee.
“Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.”
Police say inquiries are ‘ongoing’ into ‘disturbance’
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.35pm on Tuesday 17 June 2025 we received a report of a disturbance in the Strathmartine Drive area of Dundee.
” Two men, aged 40 and 34, were arrested in connection with serious assaults.
“Both men were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
“Inquiries are ongoing.”
